ARTED Secretary General Ferda Bayşu Visited TİTCK.

ARTED Secretary General Ferda Bayşu visited Turkish Medicines and Medical Devices Agency on Tuesday, 14 July 2026.

The meeting was attended  Elif Avaner, MPharm, Head of the Department of Medical Devices Sectoral Services; Dilek Gökçek of the Department of Medical Devices Sectoral Services; and  Ufuk Sovuksu, Deputy Head of the Department of Medical Devices and Cosmetic Products. During the meeting, the participants exchanged views on the distinctions between advertising and promotion under the Regulation on the Sale, Advertising and Promotion of Medical Devices, as well as the practical implications and key provisions of the regulation.

The discussion also covered feedback on processes encountered in day-to-day sector practices. Expectations regarding the implementation of the relevant legislation, areas requiring further clarification during implementation, and issues raised by ARTED members were discussed with TİTCK officials. The meeting provided an opportunity to further enhance mutual understanding of the sector's needs and to evaluate solution-oriented approaches to addressing practical challenges encountered during the implementation of the regulation.
