Medical Device Clinical Research Consultation Meeting was Held in Adana.

The Medical Device Clinical Research Consultation Meeting took place on 24 October 2026 at the Kışla Campus of Başkent University’s Adana Turgut Noyan Application and Research Centre. Organised by Başkent University’s Centre of Excellence for Good Clinical Practice (BİKUMM), the meeting brought together Hüseyin Çelik, President of the Turkish Medicines and Medical Devices Agency (TİTCK), and representatives from government, academia, industry and civil society.

ARTED was represented by our Secretary General, Ferda Bayşu, and our members Onur Özel, Kılıç Aslan, Doğutan Ülgen, Tuğba İnce Akgül, Buse Madran Enül and Onur Alptekin.

The sessions and panel discussions covered the current state of medical device clinical research in Türkiye, international practices and TİTCK’s ongoing work. Drawing on researchers’ practical experience and the industry’s expectations and proposed solutions, participants discussed practical steps and opportunities for collaboration to promote wider adoption of good practices, strengthen research processes and increase the number of clinical studies.
